TAMADY // about Tamady

Tamady's founder, Tracy Kroop has been engaged in the practice of graphic design for over a decade. While her focus has been on design for web and interactivity, her choice to work in small, multi-disciplinary design studios enables her to stay current and versatile in a variety of media.

From 2004-2006, Tracy took a brief hiatus from practice to earn her masters degree from the College of Design at North Carolina State University. During this time, she explored her interest areas in technology and culture. Her thesis work researches new information spaces for dynamically generated content that integrates virtual and physical environments.

Tracy’s work experience includes that as an inventor of a patented, award-winning product; a graphic user interface designer at a global software company; and a team member of two nationally recognized design firms: Design Director at ProWolfe Partners and Designer, New Media at Oliver Kuhlmann (now Kuhlmann Leavitt, Inc.).
